A mom sent me an email today thanking me for my work and telling me “it is a hard job.” It may be hard in some ways and an immense responsibility in other ways but I get to spend my days surrounded by hugs, smiles and the wonder of first graders. How hard can that be? I do have 26 little people who have been entrusted to my care by their parents…and by God. I am driven by that and do feel challenged by that every day. But that is 26 kids. Mrs. Piecuch is in charge of over 500 kids. YIKES! Talk about a hard job. Talk about responsibility. I feel loved and appreciated by these 26 kids everyday. We wanted to make Mrs. Piecuch feel the same way so we made her a book of letters thanking her and hoping it helps her feel appreciated on this Teacher Appreciation Day. Their letters were beautiful…their thoughts and wishes even more so. Here is what they wanted her to know:
~You are the best principal and I hope Jesus watches over you.
~ Thank you for making me feel extra special by being so kind to me.
~ Thank you for being a good leader.
