Dr. King had a dream. We listened to parts of his speech yesterday. In our religion class last week, as we were learning about Dr. King, I asked them what is your dream. What do you dream that will make the world a better place? Their answers were simple and sincere…and dreams.
- That people will be sharing.
- That everyone helps people up when they fall.
- That everyone is good to each other and loves each other.
- That people will help each other and follow Dr. King’s speech.
- That people will be caring.
- That people are nice to everybody.
- That there is peace and goodwill.
- That everyone is always welcomed and included.
- That everyone can just play nice together.
- That people will have peace and be nice.
- To care for everyone.
- That everyone loves each other.
- That the world will have love.
- Peace for everyone.
- For everyone to be loving.
- That everyone plays nicely with each other.
- That people are nice…and kind.
- That people make friends and they are nice to them
- That all people will be nice and no one will be mean.
- For love and peace in the world
- That people will be kind to each other.
- That people will love each other.
- That the world will be safe.
I love their dreams because they are from their little hearts and they will make the world a better place all because they have the courage to say “I have a dream…too.”
