Today was the ending but I am hoping it was really the beginning. A little girl told me now that she knows the Rosary her mom is going to take her to the Rosary Garden to pray together. We started our Rosary prayer at the beginning of May. We have ended each school day in May with this special prayer. We have learned all the mysteries and the stories behind them. We have learned about the life of Mary…her sorrowful and her glorious times in Jesus’ life. We decorated our cubbies with her picture and had turns being Rosary Leaders. We took our special prayers to her statue in church and lit a candle for our intercessions. There is something really special about a little hand holding a Rosary, a little voice praying the Hail, Mary and a little heart memorizing the words to “Hail, Mary, Gentle Woman.” Parents, grandparents, siblings and Mrs. Piecuch joined us in prayer. And I am sure Mary joined us in prayer too as we asked her to “teach us wisdom…teach us love.”
