Sometimes kids know better. Sometimes kids know best. Sometimes if grownups pretended they were little kids…the world might be a better place. This afternoon in groups we finger painted. We put one finger in paint and we painted our stars that go with our Eric Carle story “Draw Me A Star”. With one activity we got to have some fun, use creativity, enjoy a soothing activity and take pride in our work. Think about grown ups. What if a business meeting including some finger painting? What if a stressful day at work ended with finger painting? What if government leaders took some time at lunch just to finger paint together. I know it sounds silly. But think if grownups took some time out of their busy, stressful days to have some fun, create something, enjoy a soothing activity and take some pride in their work. Wouldn’t that make the world just a little better?
