Care Corner Photo Journal – Volume 2
It happens every year. I don’t know how or when or why they do it. But every year, without any prompting from me, they do it. Every day we pray…with our main prayers being morning prayer, lunch prayer and sending prayer at the end of the day. We sit in our chairs (or prayer circle), we fold our hands and we pray. And then it starts…someone kneels. Instead of sitting in their chair, they kneel on the floor. I only asked two things when they pray: 1) they take it very seriously and 2) they participate (fold their hands and say the prayer). I never say they have to sit, or stand, or kneel. But at some point during the school year, some of them just decide to kneel. They don’t do it to be silly, they don’t try to be the first one to kneel or to copy their friends. Maybe the just know that is how Jesus liked to pray.
