Care Corner Photo Journal - Volume 3
Today was a good day in Care Corner. From beginning to end. It started with a 2nd grader coming back to Care Corner to put money in the poor bank. At our morning prayer service the kids prayed for our student who left last week. (I wish she could hear them) But the best part was they prayed to St. Raphael for her (patron saint of travelers). (Tim would proud of them.) We had 4 groups in the morning and 4 in the afternoon and 5 amazing parents who came to help. We had Bible Study, book club about firefighters and one about spiders. We had two reading evals and one math test. We had company (Mrs. Kayser's kids) for our special Christopher Columbus movie. We practiced our Halloween Play and these little actors added TWO new twists. (So creative!). We had double M&M. I got a box of sweet treats from a grateful family. And I got faith & courage bracelets to help a preschooler have both faith and courage. And as we gathered for Friendship Circle we noticed the warning box was empty. Everyone made good choices today. In a day that had no preps and indoor recess it could have a difficult day. But...today was a good day. From beginning to end.
